Currently working full-time on BA (Hons) Fashion Communication. My teaching practice involves pushing cultural capital as the foundation element in the establishment of a progressive and democratic (pedagogic) system, for creative work to function in. Considering fashion as a culturalised application of language. I am interested in exploring a modern curriculum that deviates from being a set entity, becoming a malleable framework, that is able to support and be positively responsive to multi-ethnicity. Within this framework, multiculturalism can evolve authentic practices equitably. Here the language of design and communication becomes an infinite number of conversations, where we all have a voice.
