IT Support
Liverpool John Moores University helps students access IT hardware through both grants and recycled equipment.
Access to IT equipment can transform anyone’s ability to learn, which is why LJMU has created these schemes to focus on giving students the opportunity to complete their studies.
Criteria exist for all applications, and the team will consider each on its merit.
We are very pleased to work with local social enterprise Bulky Bobs on the refurbishment of LJMU’s equipment to make it available for students. Bulky Bobs has a long tradition of creating new employment opportunities for local residents and bringing social value to the work it does.
Recycled IT Kit
The university has a limited number of used PCs that have been refurbished by the local social enterprise Bulky Bobs. The university machines are of a good specification and prepared for immediate use.
Students are required to apply for this scheme via the Recycled IT Kit form.
