A faculty that encourages practical application of theory and knowledge to produce graduates with the skills to succeed in the business and law sectors.

We prepare students for the workplace so that they graduate with the knowledge, personal skills and practical experience to enter their chosen career with confidence. Our teaching staff engage with business and law organisations and professional bodies to ensure that teaching responds to sector needs and reflects current practice.

Our extensive links and partnerships with the business and legal communities allow us to provide unique learning experiences, both in the UK and abroad. These include placement opportunities, study abroad opportunities, pro bono activities and live projects.

Our research

In the most recent Research Excellence Framework  (2014) 97% of the School of Law's research was rated as internationally excellent (3*) or internationally recognised (2*). The School was also rated as the leading Law School within the University Alliance, a group of 24 leading universities.

Liverpool Business School strives to deliver multi-disciplinary, high-impact research. Academic researchers are active across the full spectrum of topics relevant to shaping business and management practice and have improved employability, boosted workforce productivity and generated innovation and growth.
