I have about 25 years of experience as a lecturer and researcher in universities in Spain and the United Kingdom. During this time, I have done a bit of everything and have delved into numerous areas of Psychology, Education, and Communication. Since 2013, I have primarily focused on forensic psychology, initially at the University of Liverpool (where I coordinated the UG module in Forensic and Investigative Psychology) and currently at Liverpool John Moores University, where I am a Principal Lecturer in Psychology. I have been fortunate to work with some of the prominent figures in the field and collaborate with police forces from over a dozen countries across three continents - including the UK National Crime Agency, which honoured me with a commendation in 2016.
Currently, I am a member of:
- British Psychological Society's Forensic Division Training Committee.
- LJMU Validation and Periodic Review Panel.
- Faculty of Health's Education and Student Experience Committee.
- School of Psychology Research Ethics Committee.
- School of Psychology Assessment Working Group.
