Dr. Rose Le joined Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) as a Lecturer in Psychology in July 2024. Rose is a Health Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Rose has accumulated five years of psychological practice in Australia, Vietnam and the United Kingdom (UK). Her previous experiences include:
- Providing consultancy and psychological support to doctors, nurses and patients in a private pulmonary clinic in Vietnam.
- Offering cognitive-behavioural therapy to people with a cancer diagnosis in cancer support centers in Scotland.
- Designing a healthy lifestyle program for teachers at a secondary school in Scotland.
- Providing compassion-focused therapy and behaviour change support to family members who have been affected by a loved one's drug or alcohol use.
Rose is passionate about translating empirical findings into her clinical practice. Her main research interest is to apply behaviour change theories and techniques to understand health behaviours and promote wellbeing.
