Liverpool Business School Degree Apprenticeships
Educating managers and leaders can enable businesses to develop solid foundations from which to build capacity, enhance productivity and scale up/grow. There are funding options for various businesses to train employers through degree apprenticeships. Our programmes are personalised to individuals and customised for business to suit the specific needs of employees and employers.
We offer a Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship programme, BA (Hons) Business and Management Practice, which brings together a network of leaders and managers from across the region. We currently have places available on this programme, apply now for a September start.
We offer a range of Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship programmes including postgraduate diplomas in Business Administration, Business Administration Scale Up and Leadership and Management. After completing these programmes, individuals may wish to self-fund and top-up their qualification to an MBA.

Funding for employers
If your company is paying the apprenticeship levy, you can use these funds to cover degree apprenticeships.
Non-levy paying organisations are eligible for Government support for 95% of the training costs of an apprenticeship. In order to access this funding you must first create an Apprenticeship Service Account for you organisation. Apprenticeship Services Accounts can be created on the Apprenticeship Management pages of the government website.
Once the account has been created this can be used to reserve non-levy funding for apprenticeships. Funds can be reserved up to 6 months in advance of the apprenticeship starting, to reserve the funding you will need the following details:
- The name of the apprenticeship standard
- The start date of the apprenticeship
- The cost of the apprenticeship training from your training provider
