Over the last five years, researchers within the School of Computer Science and Mathematics have secured funding from major national, European and industry sources including Horizon Europe, UKRI, Innovate UK, DSIT, BBSRC, EPSRC, the Home Office, NHS partners and international industry collaborators.
Funded projects span artificial intelligence, digital twins for healthcare, cyber security, digital connectivity, machine learning, environmental modelling, healthy ageing and data science, with individual awards ranging from tens of thousands of pounds to multi-million-pound international programmes.
