Sara joined Liverpool Business School in 2023 as a Senior Teaching Fellow in Executive Education and Programme Manager for the MBA/BA Senior Leader Apprenticeship and the MSc/Senior Leader Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management Practice. With over 13 years of experience in higher education, she has taught and supervised students across business, management, and marketing disciplines, both online and on campus. She is experienced in programme leading & academic partnerships with an international focus.
Sara is passionate about empowering small businesses, entrepreneurs, senior & middle leaders in recognising their potential as catalysts for innovation and economic growth. Sara focuses on bridging the gap between ambition and structured strategy, helping learners to understand the critical role of strategic planning in driving sustainable success. Sara hopes to empower learners to develop the confidence and clarity needed to lead effectively in an evolving business landscape.
Sara has collaborated with leading organisations to develop executive education programmes and has delivered teaching to senior professionals from the NHS, Circle Healthcare, and small businesses across the North West. Additionally, she has worked closely with entrepreneurs and design-focused SMEs in industries such as product design, engineering, textiles, jewellery, graphics, and marketing.
She has extensive expertise in programme development, validation, and quality assurance across MBA and MSc programmes, alongside significant experience in international student engagement and international partnership management.
Sara is currently the external examiner for UG & PG Programmes in the division of Innovation, Leadership, Strategy & Management at London South Bank University
