Ian is a Senior Teaching Fellow and Solicitor Advocate based within the School of Law.
Within the legal sector, Ian is a respected Solicitor Advocate with experience in a wide variety of cases including, civil litigation, employment law, wills and probate, financial claims, matters in the travel sector, environmental protection and company law. He specialises in assisting clients with cases arising from Medical Negligence.
In academia, Ian has taught a wide range of modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has been a module leader for over 15 modules including Child Law, Equity and Trusts, Tort and Medical Negligence. In addition, he specialises in practical and practice based modules including modules that focus on commercial awareness, law experiential and, in combination with his work as a lead within the Pro-Bono area, a number of legal advice based modules.
