Alumni events
Stay engaged at University events
As an LJMU graduate you’ll receive invitations to a range of events, from Roscoe Lectures to networking evenings and seminars to further your career and connections.
Exchange ideas and gain insight
The LJMU ethos of civic engagement means the University believes insight and understanding reaches far beyond our walls, and as a graduate you too have many opportunities to continue to grow and learn through events such as the Roscoe Lectures.
Featuring speakers from all walks of life, from His Holiness the Dalai Lama on ‘Secular Ethics’ to BBC News presenter George Alagiah on ‘Multiculturalism’, the Roscoe Lectures are in the great tradition of free public lectures using humour and political insight to explore what it means to be a 21st-century citizen.
The free Research in Focus seminars provide a forum for staff, students and alumni, along with external guest speakers from practice and academia, to present topical information on a variety of health-related subjects. The seminars are also used as a way in which we can reflect on current societal developments, share knowledge and examples of good practice, and develop future partnership and collaborative working between teams and organisations.
