World Congress of Science and Football (WCSF) and World Congress on Science and Soccer (WCSS)
These conferences aim to provide a global scientific forum dedicated to advancing the development and application of science across all football codes.
The International Steering Committee on Science and Football oversees the congresses, ensuring its continuity and commitment to fostering innovation in performance, health, and education within the football community.
The congress themes are dynamic with the ever-evolving football landscape. The congress covers research from core disciplines, such as biomechanics, physiology, psychology, and sports medicine. It also covers research from applied themes, such as coaching, data science, match analysis, motor behaviour, performance profiling, recovery strategies, sports medicine, and training.
