Bathgate Boost Award
Thanks to our partnership with the Bathgate Group Ltd, LJMU are able to offer a £500 award to current LJMU students for fledgling start-up ventures based in the Liverpool City Region and the Northwest. Alumni who graduated in the past academic year are also able to apply. We are looking to support ventures that demonstrate viability and show us what the impact of their funding will be on their start or growth.
Sitting alongside this funding is a package of support from the Start-up Hub team built around developing your start-up and your skills as an entrepreneur.

Eligibility Criteria
The Bathgate-LJMU Start-up Boost funding opportunity is open to current LJMU students. Alumni who graduated in the past academic year are also able to apply.
Applicants are expected to set up their business in the Liverpool City Region or within the Northwest.
Applicants must not have received start-up funding from LJMU previously.
Applications will not be considered from businesses that engage in any kind of activity that in our opinion could bring LJMU into disrepute.
Unfortunately, international students on Tier 4 Visas cannot apply for start-up funding. However we can support you with developing your business ideas.
