The Degree Apprenticeship funding you receive from the government cannot be used to pay wages or any other benefits, it can only be used towards training costs. Apprentices must be an employee on the first day of their apprenticeship and as a minimum at least be paid a wage consistent with the law for the time they are in work and in off-the-job training.
All Degree Apprentices need to meet our entry requirements and high standards just like any other student who chooses to study with us. We also work with local schools on outreach programmes and we can help source suitable candidates at our Open Day events. All of which can help you find the best person for your opportunity. You will then interview suitable candidates to ensure you find someone who will be able to add value to your organisation.
