Studying history will help you to discover the wonders of the past, compare different arguments and find your own version of events.

With more museums and galleries in Liverpool than in any other UK city outside of London, we'll help you make the most of the culture on your doorstep. At LJMU, you'll use a variety of art forms and sources to help you understand people, places and culture in their historical perspectives.

Depending on the course you choose, there will be opportunities to work closely with local and national archives, such as the National Archives in Kew, heritage organisations, schools or our own Exhibition Research Lab.
