Improving Student Mental Health through Partnerships Project

LJMU is committed to improving student mental health and is leading on a project to improve student mental health provision, working in partnership with key organisations in the city.

Aims of the project

The Student Mental Health Partnerships project will:

  • Introduce new clinical services based on campus, including the U-COPE self-harm service
  • Work in partnership to influence and improve pathways into mental health services for students
  • Co-produce the design and delivery of care with students and practitioners
  • Evaluate effective models of partnership working
  • Share best practice

How can you get involved with the Project?

The Improving Student Mental Health Project has been designed to ensure that student co-production and engagement runs through all activities and is central to any new development works. At a governance level, the project has student representation via the Liverpool Guild of Students and LJMU Student Union, and there are also a wide range of opportunities for involvement, whether that is attending one of our ‘Living With...’ workshops, or becoming more involved and joining one of our focus groups or co-production activities.
