Forensic research networks
We run six research networks covering a wide range of specialisms, each competing nationally and globally for funding to pioneer cutting-edge scholarship.
Current research is concerned with looking at craniofacial analysis to identify deceased migrants, combating illegal wildlife trade and seafood fraud, scenes of crime reconstruction from drone footage and simulation, drug identification and global health, CCTV surveillance analysis using machine learning and the rehabilitation of sexual violence perpetrators.
Our world-leading and internationally-excellent researchers teach on a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional qualifications across disciplines as varied as Anthropology, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Justice Studies, Law, Pharmacy, Psychology, Public Health and Technology.
