Information for autistic students and graduates
On this page you will find employability support and resources to aid with the transition from LJMU to the workplace.
Online resources
Below is a link to new free course designed specifically for autistic people entitled ‘Employability skills for autistic students and graduates’. This includes 5 sections:
- Knowing yourself and your autism
- Planning your career path
- Sharing your autism with others
- Asking for reasonable adjustments
- Preparing for interviews
You can complete some or all sections, depending on which parts you would like to learn more about. The course is hosted by Udemy and requires people to register for an account to access (but this is easy to do and only takes one minute).
Other online resources can be found in Careers Zone 24/7 – these include a job board, interactive tools, e-learning courses and much more!
