About us

LJMU Graduate Futures TeamLJMU Graduate Futures is a £2.4m project funded through the European Social Fund, providing opportunities to increase graduate retention through collaboration, joint-working and knowledge transfer partnerships across the Liverpool City Region eco-system.

LJMU Graduate Futures is now in the final stages and we would like to thank you for being part of our journey. 
 
During the project we have engaged over 300 Liverpool City Region businesses, created nearly 200 new jobs and placed over 100 students and graduates into career enhancing roles. We are delighted that many of our jobs have now led to permanent full-time positions.

Over 2200 LJMU students and graduates have registered to receive our support and we’ve delivered over 200 additional hours of employability training. Our Future Leader Advisory Group has successfully recruited 35 members who have acted as a shadow board, assisting us in our day-to-day decision making. They have been such an amazing asset for us, embedding the ‘student voice’ across all that we have achieved.

We are proud to have helped retain graduate talent within the local economy, providing a solid foundation of experience, championing skills that will influence the future success of so many. The LJMU Graduate Futures community that we have built will now continue through LJMU Student Futures.

LJMU continues to offer a range of engagement activities through Student Futures, including access to our student and graduate talent, funded internships through our Discovery Internships, the opportunity to present a business challenge to students through our business consultancy projects, running  your own student focus group and much more!   For a further conversation on how you can work with LJMU please email employerengagement@ljmu.ac.uk or visit our website for employers.  One of our dedicated Employer Engagement Officers will be in touch.
