The LJMU Biomechanics research group combines interdisciplinary expertise with state-of-the-art methods to study biomechanics across scales. Our work spans from single organs to the whole body, and across the lifespan.
We work with local and global partners to translate fundamental biomechanics into real-world solutions. These improve sports performance and clinical outcomes. We also support the development of future scholars and practitioners.
